It has a CAM Pac module installed and will hold 36 separate models. I used it for airplanes and helicopters alike so there are several complexed pre programmed models already in the memory that you can modify to use on your models to save yourself a lot of time or you can easily delete them and start fresh with your own. The batteries should be cycled a few times just to make sure that they are still reliable. Old batteries can go bad whether they were used or not and lose their ability to store a charge.
