This is a Vintage Team Associated RC-10. It is Ready to run includes original manual, Mechanical speed control Futaba radio and vintage Trinity modified motor. This is one of the earlier versions of the car with Gold pan chassis, it has: 6-gear transmission, rear bulkhead without cutout for inner hinge pin carrier so they can only fit in long wheelbase position, un-notched lower spring cups which require unscrewing the shock end to change springs. White ball cups with round shanks instead of full hex. Short front arms with sway bar. It was recently disassembled and completely rebuilt. The shocks have fresh oil and o-rings, the diff has been rebuilt with new balls in the spur gear and the rings were polished both for the main gear and the thrust bearing. The differential is super smooth. Transmission and all 4 wheels have full bearings. Transmission spins very freely. NOS losi pinion gear, The rear axles and dogbones were polished and re-coated with blueing to give a nice fresh black finish. Wing tubes, nose tubes, and all hinge pins and ballstuds were cleaned and polished. The motor was disassembled, comm cut on motor lathe, and reassembled with fresh NOS trinity motor capacitor kit. It includes a Full period Futaba radio system with: Magnum Junior Transmitter 2x S-148 servos R-112JE Receiver. Front tires are original rears are unmarked, unsure of brand. The car needs nothing other than batteries to run. It is clean and in great shape, body has never been run but does have some paint scratches where it rubs chassis. Easy to touch up with parma fascolor red/orange which is what was used to paint it originally. This would be a great basis for a vintage class runner, the only thing I would change would be to get some turnbuckles instead of the threaded rod to make suspension adjustments easier and more precise.
