With a Fully FCC Compliant Radio. ATTENTION Vintage R/C 72 MHz Collectors: Do you need a complete spare radio system? This Futaba 7NFK radio control system with its 3800 Shift Selectable Receiver on channel 12 will work with Futaba, Hitec, JR, and Airtronics transmitters to provide great range for flying model aircraft. This system has been fully tested to a range of 282 feet after batteries were fully charged with the transmitter antenna fully collapsed while the receiver antenna was fully extended. The AMA recommended minimum safe range test is 100 feet for this test. This radio system will insure a safe connection from your transmitter to the receiver in your aircraft. With both antennas fully extended your range should be well beyond your ability to see the model! These Futaba 7NFK radios were very rare but very popular with their added channels. Futaba made many more 6 and 4 channel Conquest radios than the sevens. In addition to Servo Reversing on all channels it also has Dual Rates on the the Ail and Elev. Cha nnel 5 is a retract switch. Channel 6 is for flaps. And there is also a trainer receptacle but the switch is broken. This Futaba also has Adjustable Gimbels both in spring resistance and length of stick. This radio system may be old school with no computer and no memory but the response is quick, super reliable, and legal to fly for the foreseeable future! Reverse switches and Dual Rates are easy to use under front flip-up access door. Assuming you have the other needed equipment including the airplane! We have personally tested all the switches on the transmitter in this system. The only broken switch is the trainer switch and does not affect any of the seven channels needed for flying. Also, the transmitter charging jack has come loose and is now inside the transmitter but you can still charge the battery by opening the battery door. Both of these items are easy to fix. The transmitter appears to be lightly used. The Pictures tell the story. Most things can be fixed. The goal is to have fun! I guarantee this system to work properly. 225 feet reached on the first test. Battery was not fully charged. 282 feet reached on second test with fully charged battery. Not everyone has the interest or the time to piece them together and then test out a radio system by walking 100 yards back and forth working the sticks on the transmitter to see if all is working properly! So when I tape the range test data to the back of the receiver, it represents a real experience of walking the distance and recording the data. I just figure someone’s got to do it. Besides, it is also good exercise! Thank you for looking! I assume no liability for the use or misuse of this equipment!
