This basic set would be great for a new flyer (or an older pilot set in his/her ways) who does not want to invest in the more expensive 2. This Futaba radio set comes from an avid builder and flyer – as he is “thinning the herd”. All components were tested and function properly. The transmitter, receiver, receiver battery, and sealed hardware were never used. All servos work correctly and smoothly. Batteries charge properly and appear to hold their charge – although it is sometimes wise to upgrade these to more current technology, if desired. This set has the newer FM R168DF 8 channel receiver – never installed or used. In addition there is an abundance of servo hardware, never used battery charger for the Tx/Rx batteries, and other accessory items. Please see all pictures for details. This set is essentially as it was direct from the factory with the following exception: i nstead of the standard S3004 servos, he substituted four S148 servos. Of the four servos, only one appears to have ever been installed or used.
