Time to move on my massively modified TXT-1 as its not getting any use these days, and is just a rather nice looking ornament inside my garage! This beautiful beast has had pretty much every upgrade possible to these original beasts from Tamiya. All the gearboxes have been upgraded with metal ball races, strengthened gears, and the full metal driveshaft modification. Its currently running two 27T modified motors for a nice blend of torque and speed. The rear axle has had the rear steering modification done to it, and the servos mounted front and rear are the highest torque Futaba S3305s which can handle the size of tyres and wheels on this beastie, and are both fitted with metal springed servo savers. The only downside to this model is that one of the tyres has a slight failure on the inside seam of one of the tyres. It doesnt affect the driving of it, but if its going to get heavy useage it might need a new tyre (these are readily available as theyre the same as the Clodbuster/Bullhead tyres). The truck comes complete with a four Channel 2.4ghz Futaba radio receiver and transmitter, and also the waterproof ESC pictured. It is set up for independent 4 wheel steer using both left and right sticks on the transmitter makes for some really fun movements when out and about! Ill also include the Dodge Charger bodyshell that I sprayed in Asbo Orange and added Dukes of Hazard decals to for some giggles. Ill even throw in a 5000mah 7.2V battery that Ive charged to test that this thing still works perfectly. All you will need is 4 AA batteries for the transmitter to get running.
